Good morning my Wolf Pack!
My apologies for sending out BackerKit survey later than usual. The Night Wolf Volume 2 trade paperbacks and the Night Wolf 13" Werewolf Plushie came in from China a week apart. So, I was hyper focused on fulfilling both of those Kickstarter projects. Now that both of those Kickstarter campaigns have been fulfilled, I am hyper focused on getting the Night Wolf #1-9 Backerkit Fulfillment Survey set up to send to you by the end of this week or early next week depending on Backerkit's approval of the survey.
What's next for Lone Wolf Comics?
I'm planning to launch another single issue comic book project around the end of February/Early March, but I'm not sure which title that will be yet. It will either be Snow Paw #4 or Night Wolf #10. It all depends on which art team finishes first. The scripts are in both teams' hands, so only time will tell.
In the meantime, we were invited by BackerKit to participate with other creators in their Pintopia 2025: Pins 'n Plushies event this winter. Any creator crowdfunding a project for a pin, a plushie, or pins AND plushies with be featured during this event, so I've designed to try out the BackerKit crowdfunding platform with the NEW Snow Paw 13" Werewolf Plushie!
For this event I will be teaming up with two other projects and we are doing crossover pins for backing both projects. Our first partner is our friends at C Is For Cthulhu! Together Tyler James and I are offering a pin featuring Night Wolf holding his C Is For Cthulhu plushie designed by our very own Wolf Pack Pups artist, Megan Affolter.
Once I have the second design from Megan for the other crossover pin featuring Snow Paw, I will introduce you to my other crossover partners. The campaigns will launch on Thursday, January 23rd at 10 AM PST, and collectively end on Thursday, February 13th at 1 PM PST. I want to say how grateful that I am for you, my Wolf Pack members! Thank you, so much for being a part of this ongoing series. The Night Wolf #1-9 Kickstarter was successful because of you! Thank you for another AMAZING campaign! You Wolf Pack Members ARE THE BEST! I couldn't have done it without you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me continue my dream of making comic books! There is still more Night Wolf stories to be told and you are part of making that happen! I'm so very thankful that you are taking this creative journey with me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Clawed Down the 3rd Stretch Goal!
This morning before the campaign ended, the Wolf Pack sniffed out and clawed down the 3rd Stretch Goal! This Stretch Goal unlocked two new limited double sided 6” Acrylic Standees featuring Black Claw and Werewolfess Candyce! I didn't have time to add these Acrylic Standees to the the add-ons section, but they will available through the BackerKit Fulfillment Survey for $20 a piece! These figures are limited to only 50 each, so reserve yours ASAP! (Please note, these are just mock ups, not the actual standees.)
What Are the Next Steps?
A few things need to happen before we can kick off production and fulfillment. Here's a quick rundown:
First, Kickstarter needs to transfer over the funds, so that I have the money to make the rewards (this can take up to three weeks). Kickstarter has notified me that some of the payments were declined. If funds fall behind the unlocked Milestone and Stretch Goal thresholds, I won't be able to place the orders for the bonus rewards. Please double check your payment method in your Kickstarter account, so you can get your rewards and so that we can keep all of the unlocked Milestones and Stretch Goals.
Second, I need to find out your reward delivery information to send out your rewards. I will be sending you all a Reward Delivery Survey through BackerKit to collect this information.
I will give you a heads-up before sending the survey, so that you can watch for it in your email or spam folder. You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to answer your survey. The invitation email contains a link to your personal survey. It is important to submit your responses as quickly as possible, since we need this information to process your rewards.
If you need to change your survey responses, purchase add-on items, or update your shipping information, you can click the link in your survey email again or request your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page. (This page will only start working after I send the surveys out.)
If you prefer, you can contact me directly and give me your information, but answering your survey helps me get your rewards out to you faster. BackerKit helps me to save a lot of time by streamlining the survey process, automating data organization, and providing me with pledge management software to make it easy to process your pledge reward shipments.
If you used your Facebook credentials to log into your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit survey link is sent to the email address you use for your Facebook account. If you have another email address that you prefer to use, please contact me.
